Minimum application requirements for high school seniors include a 2.5 grade point average, ACT composite of 24, and top 25 percent class standing. The application deadline is December 1.
College students who participate in the AFROTC program may also compete for two- and three-year scholarships in a wide variety of academic majors including pre-medicine. Application requirements for these scholarships include an above-average grade point, qualifying Air Force aptitude test scores, and participation in AFROTC classes. All junior and seniors enrolled in AFROTC receive $100 a month during the school year regardless of scholarship status. A separate application is required for both high school and college scholarships.
Recipients of the Air Force ROTC four-year scholarship who reside in college housing may also qualify for the Davidson Scholarship, which pays for the cost of the room. Recipients of the AFROTC three-year guaranteed scholarship will receive the equivalent of tuition charges in financial assistance for the freshman year at Westminster.
