WC TERMS:
Aldermanbury: The church of St. Mary, the Virgin, Aldermanbury, --The 16th Century Wren Church located on campus. The Winston Churchill Memorial and Library is located underneath the Church.
Ambassadors: Student Ambassadors work with the Alumni and Parent Relations Office to serve as hosts/hostesses. Several members of this group also serve as members of the Alumni Council.
Bookstore: Westminster College Bookstore – Located in the basement of Champ Auditorium.
Blue Jay: The Westminster College Blue Jays – how we refer to our Athletic Teams – not one word, but two!
Campus Calendar: The main calendar for all Westminster Events maintained by the Office of Student Life. Check it out online!
CHS: Counseling & Health Services – visit them online for complete information about services offered.
CIVICUS: A Servant-Leadership Program affiliated with the Center for Leadership and Service.
College Relations: The Westminster Public Relations Office located on the 2nd floor of Washington West.
CSC: Coulter Science Center
HAC: Hunter Activity Center
Harper/Harper Dining Room: A small dining room located inside Robertson Dining Hall.
Hazel Wing: The section of the Reeves Library that contains the Computer Labs.
JCI/Johnson College Inn: The college Snack Shop located in the basement floor of Hunter Activity Center. Get information on hours and more!
Latshaw: Latshaw Plaza is the area between Champ Auditorium and the Chruchill Memorial where the Berlin Wall Sculpture "Breakthrough" is located.
Mailroom: Mail and Printing Services - Located in the basement of Champ Auditorium.
Priest Field: Our Football Field
Quad: The Quadrangle - the location of freshman housing (Rice, Scott, Gage and Marquess Halls).
RA: Residence Hall Advisor - One or more Resident Advisors who are Westminster undergraduate students, staff each residence hall. .
Remley Center: Remley Women's Center - Located on Westminster Avenue (by the Triangle)
Robbie/Robertson: Robertson Dining Hall - located at the north end of "The Quad". Get information on hours and services.
StuFo: Student Foundation - An elite group of students who help the Enrollment Services Office with recruitment by assisting with campus visits, student panels, phone calling & hosting prospective students. The are also involved in many other special projects on campus.
The Hill: The portion of Westminster College that borders Lamkin Drive. Many of the classrooms and most of the administrative office are located in this section of campus.
The Triangle: Additional parking lot for Sweazey, Wetterau and Weigle.
VISTA: Volunteers in Service to America
Washington West: The building where the President's office and College Relations are housed. Located on "The Hill".
Westminster Field: The Westminster Soccer Field
Wetterau: Reference to either Wetterau Residence Hall or Wetterau Center for Field Sports.
