 Payroll Specialist/Human Resources

Westminster College is accepting applications for a Payroll/Human Resources Specialist reporting to the Controller. The person in this position will act as a key contact for employees by providing daily support and performing a variety of human resources transactions such as managing employee information, payroll, personnel and salary actions, recruitment, benefits, medical and personal leave management, worker’s compensation, and special projects. The successful candidate will also function as a designated payroll preparer for a semi-monthly payroll utilizing the Automatic Payroll System (APS).

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; 3-5 years payroll experience; 1-2 years human resource experience; computer skills with the ability to learn new software. Must be well organized, detail oriented, accurate and dependable. Must have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations, including faculty, staff, students and job applicants.
