My wife, Kath, has taught similar courses at William Woods University (we shared a single position at Birmingham-Southern). She now is the Disaster Program Manager of the American Red Cross of Central and Northern Missouri. We have 2 "boys." Ben is a graduate of MIT and is a software engineer with a company in Santa Monica, CA and Sam is a graduate of Bowdoin College (Brunswick Maine) and is a wildlife biologist, surveying animals from Madagascar to Missouri to Maine. Both boys have been interested in Soccer since they could first play and played on the Fulton HS team. We now are members the Sporting KC Cauldron and go to as many games as possible.  Our whole family have been involved in Boy Scouts (Ben, Sam and I are all Eagle Scouts). Also our family is very much involved in a creativity program called Destination Imagination (boys compete, we provide support, transport, etc.). My interests include hiking, camping, canoeing, bird watching, reptile study, photography.
