Katy Trail or the Lewis and Clark Heritage Trail:
200 mile plus park under development from St. Charles, MO, to Clinton, MO, follows the south boundary of Callaway County just north of Jefferson City, Mo and the former MKT (Missouri, Kansas, Texas) or Katy railroad bed. Section from Jeff City to west of Boonville, Mo is now open (60 miles west and 30 miles south).
