To Configure Microsoft Entourage 2003 for Exchange Server Account
- Launch Entourage and Choose "Accounts" from the TOOLS menu.
- Click the small, black down-arrow beside the NEW button to see options
- Choose "Exchange"
- Enter your account information in the pop-up window. Replace 'username' in example with your account name

- Click the "Configure Account Manually" button
- Enter settings as shown below. Replace names as needed.
- Saving password is optional. If not saved, it will ask you each time mail is checked.
If saved, you will also have to change it here if you change it on the mail server/network.
- WC Exchange/Outlook mail does require SSL security for user authentication

- Continue with the configuration tabs... Options, Advanced, Delegate, Security. Change generic 'username' to your account as needed.
- If off campus, on dial-up, or if hard disk space is limited, set the "partially receive messages" to the size of your choice. This prevents huge attachments, etc. from trying to fully download over a slow link. Large incoming messages will then have a notice saying that they are incomplete and will ask if you want to download the full message next time mail is checked. Choose yes/no as appropriate.

- For OFF-CAMPUS access to the Outlook Global Address List, use the LDAP server I.P.# 204.184.62.10
- For ON-CAMPUS use the server name 'sirwinston.westminster-mo.edu' instead of the IP#

- If you have been given access to someone else's mailbox or calendar etc. click (Add..) and select their account.
- If you are allowing someone else access to YOUR e-mail or calendar, add them in the "My Delegates" area.

- Accept the default security settings unless extra security is required for the account. If the account requires full encryption or digital signature to meet requirements for 'legal' correspondence etc. Please contact the Exchange server administrator for additional instructions.
