The Office of International & Off-Campus Programs (OIP) hosts World Within Westminster, a program that focuses on international issues and how they relate to the Westminster community directly. Twice each semester, depending on the campus calendar, a different topic related to international issues is discussed in an open forum with audience participation. Topics are chosen based on current global issues and student recommendations.

The aim of this program is to take advantage of the resources on Westminster’s campus--Westminster students, staff, and faculty with interests, experience, and knowledge about cross-cultural communication. Most international news and global issues come straight from the media, but Westminster College has many people with real international and cross-cultural experiences and / or interests who can give us the "real" news...another perspective... in their own words.

Past World Within Westminster programs included “Stereotypes and Nations,” “Our Community’s Response to September 11^th,” “Stories from the Frontline: Westminster Students’ Adventures Abroad,” and “World Religions Here at Home.”
