The Bill Emerson Fellowship
Application Process (Updated 9/06)
Applications should be submitted to the Internship Coordinator no later than October 12th. Applicants should submit the following information:
- A one-page resume including: name, address, and academic major/s and minor/s, etc.
- A brief letter to the Selection Committee explaining a particular area of public policy or interest (education, healthcare, defense spending, environment, etc.).
- One letter of recommendation from an individual who is knowledgeable about the applicant’s academic and leadership experiences.
- A brief narrative description of the applicant’s activities in the community and on campus and their significance to the Fellowship.
