The Bill Emerson Fellowship
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee consisting of a faculty representative and the distinguished national Advisory Committee. Nominees will be selected for final interviews in February with the new Fellows announced at the Board of Trustees’ Dinner, preceding the Winter Board of Trustees’ Meeting. The selection committee is particularly interested in students who demonstrate the following: • An academic record which reflects breadth and scholarship. • A desire to gain a better understand- ing of public policy implications on an issue of personal interest. • An interest in building leadership skills and learning constructive methods of problem solving in a diverse environment.
