founded in 2002 when Good Hope Community College, South Peninsula College and
Westlake Technical College were merged. The college boasts 270 permanent
staff members and has 4 300 projected full time registered students for 2009. The College comprises five campuses in and around the city of Cape Town. Good Hope Campus is a former teacher training college. At the end of 1996 the teacher training college closed down, and in January 1997 the Good Hope Community College was established. In 1998 the Good Hope Community College and the then South Peninsula College merged. |
